Just because you have seen something specific happen does not mean that it is the thing that happens most often statistically.

A carbon handlebar should, at least, in theory, be more compliant because carbon allows for much more flex than aluminum. Subjectively you can feel it but I wanted to find out what my vibration measurements will show so I tested 2 aluminum and 2 carbon handlebars.

You could go back and forth between either carbon or aluminum handlebars here, but at the end of the day, the downhill bike is the bike that sees the most abuse. A set of aluminum handlebars are generally a bit more durable than the same carbon offering and wont hurt your back pocket as much either.
