Apr 18, 2019 It was not nicked or bent. The tube is advertised as 36 inches long, 1/2 inch outside diameter, 1/16 inch wall thickness, which leave an inside diameter of 3/8 inch. I measured the outside diameter at 0.516 inches, 16/1000th oversized which is fine. There is no indication as to what aluminum alloy this is made from.
